NUCCA has been successful in helping infants, children, women, and men with hundreds of health conditions that are not normally associated with Upper Cervical Chiropractic.  However, to better understand what NUCCA helps with, it would be prudent to discuss what initiates the downward spiral to ill health.

Accidents and injuries such as twisting of a baby's head during the delivery process, multiple falls as a toddler, rough housing with siblings, athletic injuries, car accidents, work-related trauma, hitting the head, and general tripping and falling can tear loose connective tissue in the neck producing a weakness where the spine breaks down and locks into a stressed position.

The spinal stress shows up as:

1. Long and Short Leg

2. A High or Low Hip

3. A Twisting of the Body Framework

4. Muscular Imbalance

5. Abnormal Movement

6. Locking of Vertebral Joints

7. Progressive Wear and Tear on the Joints & Tissues of the Body

This spinal stress affects the brain, the spinal cord, and the nerves that make the body work. Nerves control every movement as well as sensation that we have.  They regulate every body function and affect our ability to relate to the outside world.

An Upper Cervical Spinal Correction brings the skull, spine, and hips into proper alignment.  This removes the interference from the delicate nerves and encourages them to heal.  Improved bodily function is the result.

As a result, spinal stress in an adult's spine can contribute / lead to:

Acid Reflux, Allergies, Arm pain/numbness, Ankle Pain, Asthma, Attention Deficit Disorder

Back Pain

Carpal Tunnel Syndrome, Chronic Sickness, Chronic Disease,

Digestive Disorders, Dizziness

Headaches (Migraine or Tension), Hip pain

Neck pain, Neuralgia, Numbness

Respiratory Constrictions, Rib Pain

Sciatica, Shoulder Pain, Sinus Congestion, Sleep Disturbance, Stiffness Suppressed Energy Levels

As a result spinal stress in a baby's or child's spine can contribute to/lead to:

Bed Wetting

Colic, Colds, Constipation

Difficulty crawling, walking, eating, holding head up

Depression

Ear Infections
